The City of Edmonton assumes no responsibility as to the AGE or CONDITION of the auction vehicles; it is the PURCHASERS' RESPONSIBILITY to confirm AGE, CONDITION, etc. All vehicles are sold "AS IS, WHERE IS". The Edmonton Police Service reserves the right to add or remove vehicles from the auction at any time. Vehicles may require certification to comply with Vehicle Equipment Regulation of the Traffic Safety Act of Alberta (TSA). Any vehicles not previously registered in Alberta will require an Out of Province Inspection prior to being granted registration by Alberta Registries. Any vehicles not previously registered in Canada MUST obtain clearance from Canada Customs in order to obtain registration in Canada and may also require an Out of Province Inspection. Vehicles bearing SALVAGE status with Alberta Registries MUST obtain a Salvage Motor Vehicle Inspection Certificate prior to being granted registration. Vehicle identified as UNSAFE under TSA must obtain a Salvage Motor Vehicle Inspection Certification prior to being returned to road service.

 

Payments: All bidders will be required to leave a $1,000.00 online bidder deposit when registering at www.maauctions.com This will allow you to participate in the City of Edmonton Impound Auction. This registration deposit will be refunded once Full Payment is received. All outstanding balances are required to be paid in full by 12:00 pm on the Friday following the auction at the Michener Allen Auctioneering sale site. It is located at 11130 Bevington Rd (RGE RD 262) in Acheson, AB. Balances can be paid by Cash, Certified Cheque, Debit or Credit Card. If paying by credit card, the balance over $1000 is subject to a 2% service fee. Company cheques will be accepted from established Auctions clients only.

Auction Bills of Sale: Michener Allen Auctioneering is issuing a Sales Agreement on behalf of the City of Edmonton Unclaimed Vehicles Auction Program and is acting strictly in facilitation of the sale of the vehicle. The PAID IN FULL Sales Agreement issued on behalf of the City of Edmonton will be provided once the item purchased has been paid in full.

Pick up of vehicles: Vehicle purchases made at the City of Edmonton Impound Auction are required to be picked up by 2:00 PM Friday following the auction at the City of Edmonton EPS Seized Vehicle Storage Location - 12230 124 Ave Edmonton.

Please note: This venue is best suited for auto wreckers, dealers and individuals with a mechanical aptitude.  All vehicles are sold on an AS IS WHERE IS basis.  Some of the vehicles have keys, some start and others do not, all are sold as displayed with no guarantees whatsoever.

Liens: All vehicles with the letter “L” on the listing have a current active lien. The City of Edmonton is actively working on getting any and all liens removed on the purchaser’s behalf through the Government of Alberta, Abandoned Vehicle Program. The City of Edmonton anticipates most liens to be removed by auction day and or approximately 14 days after the auction date, however, some may take 30 days or more to remove. Any post auction questions or assistance required regarding Lien Removals or other items must be directed to the EPS Police Seized Vehicle Section Management. Buyer’s Administration Fees: Buyer’s Administration Fees is listed at the bottom of this page. Please be conscious of the Buyer’s Administration Fees & GST and factor them into your Internet Bidding. Keys: Buyers will obtain the keys IF AVAILABLE at the EPS Seized Vehicle Storage Lot upon pick up.
